The Třeboňská rybniční soustava, or Třeboň fishpond system, is an impressive network of over five hundred interconnected ponds in South Bohemia, Czech Republic. Today, Rybářství Třeboň a.s. oversees their operation, maintaining an annual fish production of approximately 2,900 tonnes, predominantly carp.

Throughout history, the fishponds have faced various challenges and developments. The Thirty Years' War significantly reduced fish harvests, but recovery was documented by 1751. In the late 19th century, Josef Šusta constructed additional ponds, bringing the total area to its current size. Despite these changes, the system has continued to serve multiple functions beyond aquaculture.

Today, the Třeboňská rybniční soustava plays a crucial role in biodiversity protection. Its age and design have created a semi-natural environment that supports diverse flora and fauna, including over 150 bird species and numerous mammals.
