The Imperial Spa is one of the important elements of Teplice's spa heritage. Their headquarters at Laube Square (No.227 / 2) is adjacent to the Spa Park, where the Kolostůj fountain is located. The building is a protected cultural monument, which has been listed since 1958, and still performs its original function.

The building of the Imperial Spa was built in 1845 in its original form. The key transformation was made between 1870 and 1872, when the builder Ing. Adolf Siegmund completely rebuilt it in a neo-Renaissance style that characterizes it today. The last major reconstruction took place between 1912 and 1914. During their history, the Imperial Spa became a place of treatment and rest of high state officials - the spa services were used here by German císař Vilém I. and Austrian císař František Josef, thereby obtaining its recognized name to this day.

Today's spa operation is focused on treating various diseases. They offer care to patients after orthopaedic surgery and treatment of post-traumatic conditions, vascular diseases and other health problems. Thermal and mud baths, electrotherapy and many other spa treatments are available. The complex equips its own swimming pool and sauna. The operation includes 114 beds for hospitalized patients and an operating cafe. By 2020, CLT Clinic was based here. The spa remains easily accessible - public transport lines stop on both sides of the building near Laube Square. In the past, the area was operated by a tram network.

Visiting the Imperial Spa can be enjoyed both by people seeking a therapeutic stay and by those who appreciate the neo-Renaissance architectural style of the building. The spa represents not only an interesting historical building, but also a living part of the spa tradition of Teplický spa.
