The Church of Saint Cyril and Methodius is a modern church in Ostrava's Pustkovec district, built on the site of a former church. It was consecrated in 1998 and has since become a notable landmark in the area. The church is notable for its unique design and beautiful stained-glass windows.

Construction of the Church of Saint Cyril and Methodius began in 1997, initiated by Porubský farář Josef Gazda. The church was designed by architect Tomáš Černoušek in the shape of a Greek cross with four large glass windows. The interior features a simple and airy atmosphere, with a plain wall behind the altar and a large baroque polychromed relief of Christ as the dominant feature.

The interior is adorned with various works of art by the Bučovice-based woodcarver Josef Staňka. These include a statue of the Virgin Mary, a relief of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Stations of the Cross, a relief beneath the altar depicting the sacrifice of Isaac, a sedes with a relief of the Annunciation, an eternal light above the sanctuary representing the burning bush of Moses, a processional cross, candlestands, and a paschal candle. The church's bells were cast by Josef Tkadlec from Halenkov in 1998. The largest bell, Saint Cyril, weighs 220 kg, the middle bell, Saint Sylvie, weighs 150 kg, and the smallest bell, Saint Methodius, weighs 100 kg.

The church is owned by the Pustkovecká farnost and has undergone significant changes in its history. In 2007, it became a parish church. The church's unique feature is the cross on the cross, which has arms pointing upwards, a feature not typically found in Christianity.
