Jihlava je české město s bohatou historií a kulturním dědictvím. Nachází se na Českomoravské vrchovině, kde řeka Jihlava kdysi tvořila hranici mezi Čechy a Moravou. Založená ve 13. století jako hornické město s významnou těžbou stříbra, dnes má přibližně 54 624 obyvatel a rozlohu 87,8662 km². Město je známé svou historickou architekturou a bylo v roce 1982 vyhlášeno městskou památkovou rezervací.
