Monuments – Plasy

Plasy je město v okrese Plzeň-sever s přibližně 2 924 obyvateli. Nachází se ve středu Mikroregionu Dolní Střela a má rozlohu 57,1413 km². Historie Plas sahá až do pravěku, kdy byla zde nalezena halštatská sídliště. Město vzniklo kolem cisterciáckého kláštera, jehož zakládací listinu podepsal kníže Vladislav II. v roce 1144. Klášter prošel několika obdobími vzestupu a zániku, nejvýraznější bylo jeho zrušení v roce 1785. Dnes je Plasy známé svou historickou architekturou a pěti kulturními památkami.
