Vyšehrad je historická část Prahy 2, známá svou bývalou pevností a bazilikou svatého Petra a Pavla. Tato oblast má bohatou historii sahající do eneolitu, s významnými nálezky z 10. století. V průběhu let byl Vyšehrad panovnickým sídlem až do 12. století; i po požáru v 13. století si udržel svou důležitost díky kapitule. I přes zničení husity v roce 1420 se Vyšehrad stal domovem chudých řemeslníků a později byl proměněn na pevnost během třicetileté války. Dnes je Vyšehrad důležitým místem s 12 evidovanými památkami, které přitahují návštěvníky svou historickou a architektonickou hodnotou.
