Nové Město, založené v roce 1348 Karlem IV., je historicky bohatá část Prahy s rozlohou 3,34 km². Původně královské město se stalo součástí Královského hlavního města Prahy v roce 1784 a dnes patří do obvodu Praha 1 a částečně i Praha 2. Místní architektura je ovlivněna gotickým urbanistickým plánem, zatímco barokní bastiony přidaly novou vrstvu v novověku. Nové Město se pyšní 93 památkami a bylo uznáno UNESCO jako součást historického centra Prahy díky svým jedinečným urbanistickým řešením.
