Monuments – Kladno

Kladno, statutární město ve Středočeském kraji, je známé svou historií zaniklé těžby uhlí a výroby oceli. Původně pojmenované podle slova "kláda", se poprvé objevuje v dokumentech z roku 1318. Město, které dnes má přibližně 69 tisíc obyvatel, bylo povýšeno na městečko v roce 1561 a od té doby prošlo několika historickými změnami. V minulosti patřilo k rytířskému rodu Kladenských z Kladna, což ovlivnilo jeho rozvoj a architekturu. Dnes je známo také svou významnou hokejovou tradicí a má deset památek evidovaných v databázi.
